Online media impressions of Hubei refreshed
An online media tour of Hubei province held on June 16-23 to report on the achievements of the province's tourism construction and development drew more than 50 national key media people, 30 online celebrities and several representative travelers.
The destinations of the week-long event showcasing Hubei's tourism and culture included Guanyu (a brave and honest general of the Han Dynasty) Park in the city of Jingzhou, Grand Canyon and butterfly cliff in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, the Qingjiang River scenery resort in Changyang Tujia Autonomous County of Yichang city, Ancient Longzhong in Xiangyang, Dahong Mountain in Suizhou, and the "Yuexibandao" Holiday Resort in Honghu.
"We wish the media to capture the beauty of Hubei and tell it to the world to help promote Hubei tourism," appealed Liu Jungang, general manager of ECOTIC, a state-owned tourist investment corporation in Hubei province and also a sponsor of the event. Another sponsor is the Hubei Daily Media Group, with support from the Hubei Daily New Media Group.
"The trip refreshed my impression of Hubei", said Zhou Yanfang, from youth.cn, "I was so charmed by Hubei's beauty and rich culture and enjoyed the trip a lot".
