Shaanxi seeks to enhance global image

Shaanxi hopes to expand its global reputation by holding a series of activities in Beijing on July 7. More than 200 envoys from foreign embassies and journalists will attend the event.

The theme of the event is “Open China: Shaanxi Engaging the World” and is jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and the Shaanxi Provincial Government.

Photo exhibitions and food tasting sessions are among the activities to be held on the day. Government officials including Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Shaanxi Party Chief Lou Qinjian will be on hand to deliver speeches.
