MFA Presenting Chinese Provinces for Shaanxi

An event promoting Shaanxi province, one of the cradles of Chinese civilization, was held in Beijing on July 5.

Named “An Open China: Shaanxi Engaging the World”, the event was jointly held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and the Shaanxi government, and attracted hundreds of foreign envoys, organization representatives and media from home and abroad.

Representatives from several top 500 companies as well as cultural experts from Shaanxi were also present.

The MFA kicked off the Chinese provinces promotion campaign on March 2, aiming to deepen the opening-up in the central and western parts of China. Shaanxi is the third province to be featured in the campaign.
