Entries have opened for the 2016 Coastal Cup Wuxi Teenage Photography Contest, with the organizers calling for photos that reflect the positive lives and outlooks of teenagers from an everyday perspective, Wuxi Daily reported.
The event organizer, the Wuxi municipal committee of the communist youth league, said it aims to shine a light onto the lives of teenagers as they grow up, as well as calling for more efforts in child poverty relief.
Participants will be able to submit up to eight photographs in either color or black and white. The submitted works should be sent to xiangrikuizhuxue@126.com making sure to include the photographer's name and contact number.
Whoever is judged to have taken the best snap will take home 2,000 yuan ($300) and an award certificate. Two second prize winners will receive 1,000 yuan each, with three third prize winners receiving 500 yuan each. An additional 45 finalists will each receive 100 yuan.
