Zhang Haidi visits Chinese delegation for Rio Paralympics

Zhang Haidi, president of the China Disabled Persons’ Federation and head of the Chinese delegation for the 2016 Rio Paralympics, visited the athletes in the sports center for people with disabilities on August 2. Zhang said that the delegation should make good plans for the life and training of the athletes, and lift their spirits to prepare for the upcoming events.

Zhang raised four requirements for the delegation: first, pay attention to safety issues, especially the safety of athletes; second, solve existing problems during training and preparation for the competition; third, supervise the behavior of all the athletes; fourth, build up confidence to fight for glory as well as recognition of all people with disabilities.
