An event designed to report on the profound history and culture of Xi'an, as well as on its recent development, was launched in the city on May 24.
With a theme of "catch up and go beyond", the three-day event has attracted over 100 participants, including chief-editors, editors and journalists from numerous internet media outlets across the country.

The reporting journey will make stops in the city's hi-tech development street, national historic heritage protection zone, museum and ecological project. Diversified viewpoints will be used in a multimedia way to show the ancient city's past and present and its future expectations, especially those responding to the Belt and Road Initiative.
