E China college water resources program enriches Lancang-Mekong cooperation

The students will also play positive roles in forging closer ties between China and the Mekong countries, echoing Premier Li Keqiang's call, which he stressed last March at the first Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) leaders' meeting, to bring forth practical actions in sub-regional cooperation that serve the common needs of China and the Mekong countries.

HHU was recently included in China's "Double First-class" plan to develop its water conservancy disciplines into world-class programs. The Lancang-Mekong cooperative program was a portrayal of the school's determination to become the best in the world in its field.
