Huawei launches innovation center in Xi'an

Yang Renhua, director of the administrative committee of the Xi'an High-tech Industries Development Zone, said that the high-tech zone introduced nearly 2.5 billion US dollars of foreign capital and more than 50 billion yuan ($7.2 billion) of domestic capital last year. Its ability to support high-tech enterprises is growing stronger and stronger.
In February of this year, the administrative committee and Huawei Technologies Co Ltd signed a cooperation agreement to establish the innovation center.
The center will enable enterprises and universities to enjoy Huawei's software development cloud services and help promote the development of cloud computing, big data industry, and enterprise reform in Xi'an.
Lu Dongguo, director of the Xi'an Software Park Development Center, said that Huwei DevCloud is a service jointly provided by Huawei and the high-tech zone in order to help develop the software industry.
It will help software companies to better apply products, grasp market opportunities, and reduce research and development costs.
As one of the largest software companies in China, Huawei has deployed the whole process of software development in the cloud based on years of research and development.
Huawei has also implemented collaborative software development services into the cloud, greatly improving the efficiency and quality of software development.
After the launch of the Huawei Cloud Xi'an Innovation Center, Huawei will help build Xi'an into a famous software city through technological innovation, service innovation and model innovation.
