Turing Award winner to join programmers' festival

Andrew Chi-Chih Yao is an academician at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a distinguished Professor-at-Large at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and dean of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences at Tsinghua University. He won the Turing Award in 2000.
In addition, Andrew Chi-Chih Yao is an internationally well-known computer scientist. In 2005, he resigned from Princeton University and joined Tsinghua University in Beijing as a full-time professor, where he started the Tsinghua Xuetang Special Pilot CS Class (Yao Class) to nurture more world-leading undergraduate students in the field of computer science.
