CHTF 2019 concludes with fruitful results

The China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), which opened on Nov 13 in Shenzhen, closed on Nov 17, promoting the high-quality development of technological innovation.

Themed around "Invigorating the Greater Bay Area through Opening-up and Innovation," this year's event featured 19 exhibitions for areas such as energy conservation and environmental protection, new materials, smart cities, smart healthcare, as well as optoelectronics display, along with three sub venues, including the talent fair.

The total exhibition area reached 142,000 square meters, attracting 3,315 exhibitors to participate in this year’s CHTF and showcase 10,216 hi-tech projects, covering various fields spanning artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, big data, cloud computing, as well as the commercial application of 5G.

During the fair, 256 activities, such as high-end forums, salons, and technical meetings, were also held.

CHTF 2019 attracted 576,000 visitors from 108 countries and regions, with every booth receiving an average of 246 professional visitors per day.

Apart from industrial giants like Huawei, ZTE, Han's Laser, Shenzhen China Star Optoelectronics Technology Co Ltd, and NTT Data, a number of newly-started companies with high value, including Cambricon and Orbbec, also showcased their products during CHTF 2019.

Overseas exhibitors brought 2,077 new products, along with 701 new technologies to CHTF 2019, which is over 400 more than the total number in 2018.

This year's event applied facial recognition at the entrances for visitors, providing more accurate and convenient services. The vehicle information of exhibitors and visitors were registered in advance to carry out scientific management of parking.
