GDP for 2019 reached 156.13 billion yuan, an increase of 7.8 percent year-on-year, 0.3 percentage points higher than that of Anhui province. The added value of primary industry was 14.98 billion yuan, an increase of 3.2 percent. The added value of the secondary industry was 73.83 billion yuan, up 9.9 percent, of which the industrial added value was 57.65 billion yuan, up 9.8 percent. The added value of tertiary industry was 67.32 billion yuan, an increase of 6.3 percent. Per capita GDP was 58,819 yuan based on the average annual resident population.
