Lishui, Jinhua to build integrated metropolitan area

Lishui and Jinhua in East China's Zhejiang province jointly issued a Jinhua-Yiwu metropolitan area construction action plan recently. The plan is of great importance in building a regional center for the city group in the Yangtze River Delta region.

The planning scope of the Jinhua-Yiwu metropolitan area covers nine counties (cities and districts) in Jinhua city and Jinyun county in Lishui.

The plan focuses on seven aspects: regional synergetic innovation, win-win industrial development, construction of comprehensive transport hubs, life quality in both urban and rural areas, businesses based on the Belt and Road Initiative, sharing of people's livelihood resources, and regional connectivity and inclusiveness.
