Entrepreneur alliance gathers strength to develop key industries

An alliance of entrepreneurs in the Yangtze River Delta region, established on June 6, is expected to join industry leaders, organizations, and government departments for the coordinated development of key industries in the region.

"Only through cooperation can we achieve win-win results. Upstream and downstream companies in the industrial chain in the region need to strengthen ties," said Liu Qingfeng, co-chairman of the alliance and founder of AI giant iFlytek in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone.

Liu said iFlytek will seize upon cooperation opportunities brought about by the alliance to promote collaborative innovation in science and technology and expand the application of new AI technology and products in order to build the region into an AI hub.

Members of the alliance also include Nan Cunhui, chairman of leading global smart energy solutions provider CHINT, and Zhang Jindong, chairman of Chines retail giant Suning Holdings Group.
