China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, or Sinotruk, one of the country's major heavy-duty truck manufacturers, held the 2022 Cloud Business Conference on Dec 30 in Jinan, Shandong province.

The total market share of the company's heavy-duty trucks is expected to reach 20.5 percent this year, ranking second in the domestic industry, according to statistics from the China Automotive Industry Association.
The export of its heavy trucks has remained first in China for 17 consecutive years.
The company's branch offices, distributors and cooperative partners across the country attended the business conference via online channels to review Sinotruk's development achievements during the past year, and make a plan for the 2022 market strategy and product layout.
In the coming year, Sinotruk will continue to boost innovation-powered development in order to make the company a real industry leader, said a senior manager of Sinotruk.
The company will apply new energy, autonomous driving, and artificial intelligence technologies to upgrade its traditionally manufactured trucks.
Focusing on pure electric, hybrid and hydrogen fuel cells technologies, the company will develop new energy commercial vehicles.
The company will continue to strengthen its brand strategy, optimize its distribution strategy, and refine its competition strategy to ensure that Sinotruk's product competitiveness continues to improve, said Tan Xuguang, chairman of Sinotruk.
