The ET Bonded zone demonstration shop has now been open for 130 days, from March 30 to August 10. The shop has attracted consumers from 16 districts in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province. Its operating area is 550 square meters. Its sales for the first 100 days totaled 5400 thousand yuan, stemming from 70 thousand consumers.

Wide consumer group

Maternal and child products and food, especially milk powder, diapers, milk and coffee of high quality, are the most popular items in the ET boned zone. The customers are from Beijing, Tianjian and Hebei, and from white-collar workers to international returnees, which promises a sustainable development of cross-border trade.

Imports American wild fishes

The shop sells more than 1000 classes of products such as personal care and toiletries, commodities and chilled products. Cosmetics and health care product are coming soon. To meet the demands of consumers, the ET bonded shop imports American wild fish, the first bonded platform in China to do so. Mississippi wild fish, for example, are recognized by the National Meat Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. Their lead, inorganic arsenic, methyl mercury and cadmium levels are ten times lower than the national standard; they are a genuine green food. Their protein, vitamin, calcium and potassium levels are higher than those of Chinese wild fish, while their fat and cholesterol content is lower. They are a high quality food much in demand.

Online bonded shop set for October

The E-Town bonded shop will go online at the end of October, increasing customer convenience.
