During the Rio Olympic Games, the Museum of Tomorrow, which is Globo’s landmark building, is holding an exhibition called "Experience the future: the evolution of television". The 98-inch 8k ultra-HD TV it’s using is from BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. It is the first time for Brazil to rebroadcast the Olympic Games, and about 7,000 people have visited the museum.

The resolution of the 8k display product is 7680*4320; the display effect is four times higher than a 4k display product and 16 times higher than that of display products popular now. The 8k ultra-HD TV shows the athletes’ every change of expression. And, the 8k ultra-HD TV uses a 22.2 high-end speaker to express different vocal tracts.

This product was made in 2013. It has won SID "Best in Show", "Technical Innovation Award (TIAward)", and "CEATEC". It demonstrates ultra-HD technology so that a viewer cannot notice the pixel points from even a very close distance.
