Smart landposts that could be used as lamps, wifi sources, display screens, and environmental monitoring devices have appeared in six streets in e-Town, including Tianchenghuayuan Road, Tianchenghuayuan Street, and Kangjian Road.

Smart landposts are more than light poles. They are base stations in a communication network, monitors able to observe and react to the situation in the streets, and display screens that can be used as electronic flags during civic events. In e-Town they have a WIFI signal transmitter and receiver on their insides.

About 280 of these digital age smart landposts will be used in e-Town.
