BAIC BJEV strengthens ties with business partners
BAIC BJEV, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, hosted a conference in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area on Jan 29, calling for closer global cooperation to encourage new breakthroughs and development, according to local media.
Beijing Electric Vehicles Company (BJEV), the electric car-making arm of Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Corp (BAIC), is one of the leading new-energy carmakers in China.
The conference witnessed the launch of a power electronics and electric drive technology R&D center owned by BAIC BJEV.
Also, a signing ceremony was held during the conference, involving leading businesses including Sinochem International, Xingmin Intelligent Transportation Systems Group and Hanergy Thin Film Power. Contracts covering areas including new energy vehicles, sharing cars, big data services and smart cities were signed.
