A total of 26 top antibiotic scientists met and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on six topics involving antibiotics at a meeting opening in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) on May 28, according to local media.

The two-day event also attracted the participation of well-known firms from 17 countries. The business representatives discussed with scientists how best to deal with the growing problem of antibiotic resistance.
