Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) was selected as the only city-level green manufacturing park in Beijing, according to a list released by Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology recently.

The evaluation criteria include infrastructure, level of green development, no major pollution accidents or ecological damage incidents.

BDA has met the relevant requirements of various green indicators such as energy utilization, resource utilization, infrastructure, ecological environment and operation management.

The list of green manufacturing in the city in 2018 was first evaluated by the self-evaluation of the candidates and by the third-party evaluation agency. After that, Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology organized expert evaluation and demonstration.

According to regulations, enterprises (parks) selected for the national-level list will be automatically selected for the municipal-level demonstration list. In the future, the national-level green manufacturing demonstration list will also be recommended in principle from the municipal demonstration list.

The city will provide a certain amount of financial funds to the enterprises selected for the municipal and national-level green factories and green supply chain demonstration lists.
