Internet of things (IoT) solutions provided by BOE Technology, including X-ray flat panel detectors, flexible display solutions, VR all-in-ones, and the BOE iGallery, were all in the spotlight for the 2018 IC World Conference which opened in the capital’s Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, on Oct 22.
At the conference, BOE demonstrated three different sizes of X-ray flat panel detectors that convert X-rays into visible and electrical signals for X-ray digital photography.
At present, BOE's 46-inch X-ray flat panel detector supports full-body scanning and can be used for one-time non-splicing photographic imaging. It has the advantage of producing clear images with a low radiation dose, which can help doctors accurately diagnose and reduce radiation exposure to patients.
In addition, BOE has displayed its flexible and innovative solutions such as a flexible display, smart speaker and flexible OLED mobile phone, with a screen that is able to produce sound. The phone uses an electromagnetic exciter instead of the traditional sounding unit to produce sound through the screen, which greatly enriches the flexible display interaction mode.
BOE sensors and application solutions have provided products and services for emerging high-end sensing fields such as healthcare, industry, information exchange, and gene sequencing. They are widely used in inspections of homes and hospitals, communication and transportation, and in smart homes.
