INCOM Group signs plastic waste commitment

INCOM Group, a Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area-based company operating in the recycling industry, signed The New Plastics Economy Global Commitment at Our Ocean Conference 2018 which took place in Bali, Indonesia, on Oct 29 and 30.
A total of 250 renowned packaging manufacturers, brands, retailers, recyclers, governments and NGOs agreed to the commitment, which aims to eliminate plastic waste at its source and tackle the problem of plastic pollution –– building partnerships to achieve the goal of removing plastic packaging waste.

As an advocate of the sustainable use of renewable resources, INCOM Group is committed to developing and providing system solutions for the recycling of renewable resources, thereby reducing the environmental pollution of plastic waste and effectively improving the efficiency and value of resource recycling.
At present, INCOM Group has established a comprehensive partnership with Norway’s TOMRA Group, which aims to recycle approximately 35 billion items of packaging (beverage bottles, cans, beer bottles, etc.) on an international scale.
In China, INCOM Group has recycled a total of 57 million beverage containers so far.
