The first tram line in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) is currently undergoing tests, according to the local planning bureau.
With the completion of the new Tram Line 1, commuters will have an extra transport option to get around the BDA.
There will be a total of 15 stops connecting the five main areas of the BDA: Lunan, Hexi, Ludong, the main railway station, and Hexin –– the main area.
Passengers can transfer to the Beijing Subway’s Yizhuang Line at Rongchang Dongjie stop.
