The 2014 Liangjiang Documentary Photography Contest officially kicked off on May 22. The documentary photography contest is co-hosted by the Liangjiang administrative committee, Chongqing Photographers Association, Liangjiang New Area (LNA) publicity and press office, and Sina blog of Chongqing.

The photography competition is divided into a professional photography group and “micro-blog taking photos on hand” group. The photography activity started in late May and ends in December. Awards will be issued at the beginning of 2015.

The professional group bonus has reached 10,000 yuan ($1,603). The second prize is 5,000 yuan, and the third prize is 3,000 yuan. Moreover, a large number of additional prizes have been set for participants with outstanding works.

The Liangjiang Documentary Photography Contest aims to record the achievements and development of Liangjiang in industrialization, globalization, informatization and market through excellent photography works and materials.

Contestants should send the original digital version of photos to the 2014 Liangjiang Documentary Photography Contest committee office official email: ljxq2014@sina.com. The size of the original version should be over 8 million pixels. The electronic file should be bigger than 5MB. The photograph contestants should attach their name, identity card number, telephone number and other personal information (mobile phone).
