Different from common capsule hotels, the newly opened hotels are available to be booked online. Four new hotels, located in LNA's Cybernaut Maker Space, have opened, featuring rooms shaped like white space cabins capable of accommodating a single guest.
Users can easily book a capsule bed by following the hotel's official Wechat account and registering. The door of the capsule rooms will open as users scan QR codes with their smart phones to check both in and out.

Capsule hotels mainly serve white-collar workers in the area, providing a place for siesta. During the trial operations, the capsule hotels charge 5 yuan ($0.75) per half hour and 6 yuan from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Three hundered capsule hotels are expected to be built across the Liangjiang New Area by the end of this year.
Chongqing opened its first capsule hotel on Nov 22, 2012, featuring 16 1.2-by-2.2-meter rooms equipped with a power outlet, clock, wall lamp, TV set, air conditioner and even WiFi.
