Chongqing Mingyuehu Collaborative Innovation Research Institute Co, Chongqing Changan Automobile Co, and the Chongqing Jingying Scientific &Economic Integrated Development Service Center were selected among the first group of Innovation China innovation bases, according to the latest news from the China Association for Science and Technology.

Innovation China innovation bases are divided into three categories – innovation bases for industry-university coordination, those for innovation and entrepreneurship cultivation, and those for international innovative collaborations. Candidates typically include innovative local enterprises, major universities and scientific institutions, industrial technology research centers, and innovation incubators.

Chongqing Mingyuehu Collaborative Innovation Research Institute Co was recognized as an innovation base for innovation and entrepreneurship cultivation, Chongqing Changan Automobile Co was named an innovation base for international innovative collaborations, and the Chongqing Jingying Scientific & Economic Integrated Development Service Center was ranked as an innovation base for industry-university coordination.

The innovation base was selected to incentivize regional scientific associations and related grassroots organizations to contribute to local high-quality economic development by collecting more innovative resources, including talent, technologies, data and capital.
