Brad Pitt, director Quentin Taratino and other cast members of 'Inglorious Bastards' are featured on the latest issue of "Vanity Fair" magazine.
Brad Pitt is going to Cannes for the premiere of 'Inglorious Bastards'.
The 45-year-old actor's upcoming movie 'Inglorious Bastards' - which is directed by Quentin Tarantino - will debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in May.
Set during World War II, the film is a cross between an action/adventure movie and a spaghetti western.
The movie - which also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Mike Myers and Diane Kruger - follows a group of Jewish-American commandos who are fighting Nazis in France. Though the film isn’t set to open in theaters until August 21st, Tarantino has assured the Cannes organizers that he’ll be ready to show the film at the festival, which runs from May 13-24th.
Tarantino - who won the festival's top prize, the Palme d'Or, in 1994 for 'Pulp Fiction' - has been working on the film for nearly 10 years. He has also allowed it to be entered in the awards section of the event.
In past years, Pitt has appeared in Cannes selections like "Troy" and "Ocean's Thirteen.
