Returned treasures under the hammer

Poly International Auction will put nearly 4,000 works from the genres of Chinese painting, calligraphy and antiquity under hammer at its summer auction. It will feature 500 returned Chinese paintings from overseas collectors. The antique section presents high-quality porcelain, jade-ware and study treasures, such as Famille rose ceramic bowls from the mid-Qing dynasty, a jade landscape carving from the reign of Qing Emperor Yongzheng (1678-1735), and a Qing-era wooden dragon-head birdcage (pictured).
