Journey to the Silk Road - UK

The magnificent architecture of the V and A. London has many wonderful museums and the big ones are usually free to enter. Many are in iconic buildings which make great photos. This includes the British Museum, the National Gallery, the Natural History Museum, the Tate Britain, the Tate Modern among others. I'll leave you to find these charms of London but I will focus on a more in depth look at one other famous Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, (known simply as the V and A), located in South Kensington.

This is something special to consider if visiting London. Best if combined with a dinner on the boat - I did this with my colleagues on Friday just gone. Some nice pictures. I don't focus on the food but it was, for me, Vegetable soup, roast lamb, veg, roast potatoes, strawberries and cream..and champagne, and coffee. The journey began at Camden Lock as photo below.

We know that London is famous for its international cuisine. Some people say that is very good because who wants to eat British food! Actually, our food is not that bad. We include Indian, Nepalese and similar as the chefs came here long ago. A survey shows that the most popular dish in Britain eaten outside the home (thus ordered in a restaurant) is Chicken Tikka Masala.
