The goods transported via the freight line will cost 30 to 40 percent less in the shops than items imported by air, according to Zhou Xuming, General Manager of Zhejiang Mundiver Import and Export Co.

At present, 21 trains are operating on China-Europe line and 17 on China-Asia route thanks to the Silk and Road Initiative.
