From Yang Jie, Dunhuang, Northwest China's Gansu province.
I was born in Dunhuang, a county-level city in Northwest Gansu Province. Dunhuang lies at the western end of the Gansu Corridor, called Hexi Zoulang. The name Dunhuang originally meant "prospering, flourishing"-- a hint that Dunhuang once was an important city. It was a major stop on the ancient Silk Road and is best known for the nearby Mogao Caves.
