Mike James scored 34 points and had 11 rebounds for Toronto, which lost its sixth straight.

Hawks 101, Timberwolves 99

At Atlanta, Josh Childress made the winning basket as time expired, handing Minnesota its 13th straight road loss.

After Ricky Davis made a layup to tie it at 99, the Timberwolves didn't defend Childress as he streaked down the court to catch a long pass from Zaza Pachulia. Childress scored on an uncontested layup as time expired.

Officials reviewed the replay to confirm the shot left Childress' hand before time ran out.

Joe Johnson scored 24 points to pace the Hawks, while Davis led Minnesota with 33 points.

Trail Blazers 76, Rockets 75

At Portland, the Trail Blazers snapped an 11-game losing streak when Sebastian Telfair hit a jumper with 27.7 seconds to go.

Yao Ming, who struggled with 13 points for Houston, couldn't make a shot from under the basket as time ran out.
