Mourinho wants Ballack answer soon

The Bayern Munich midfielder has expressed an interest in moving to the current English title holders and Premiership leaders at the end of the season.

But Mourinho is still waiting for official confirmation and would like to speed up negotiations.

Speaking at Chelsea's press conference ahead of their game with Bolton on Saturday, Mourinho said: "We are having serious negotiations. Yes I would like him to come, that's why Chelsea are trying to sign him.

"But when I spoke to Ballack he didn't tell me he was 100 percent sure he was coming to Chelsea.

"He told me he liked the way he was approached, he liked the project we explained what would happen if he comes here - he even fancies the Premiership and Chelsea's desire to succeed in England and Europe.
