Parreira had said earlier that Argentina deserves credit for "taking
advantage of the scoring opportunities it created."
The Brazilian coach said midfielder Juan Roman Riquelme was the man of match
for the Argentines.
"He decided the match, set up the plays in both Argentine goals," Parreira
said.
Argentina is in Group C, which also includes Serbia-Montenegro and the
Netherlands. The Dutch beat the Serbs 1-0 Sunday.
Brazil begins its quest for a record sixth world title on Tuesday against
Croatia in Berlin. It will then play Australia and Japan in Group F.

REST DAY: Nothing like doing nothing to soothe sore muscles.
Ecuador canceled a planned trip to Bad Kissingen's thermal baths and rested
on Saturday after a grueling 2-0 win over Poland in Group A.
The players lounged in the team hotel and rested in preparation for Sunday
afternoon's practice.
"It was total rest. We saw some of the day's matches and the activities will
resume on Sunday afternoon. In the morning we will continue resting," team
spokesman Victor Mestanza said.
Back home, the country was still celebrating Friday's win.
"It was a beautiful game, and we're still partying," said Diego Fernandez,
who was walking on one of Quito's busiest streets.
"We will be champions! Brazil and Ecuador to the final!" shouted Jose Luis
Cruz.
