Japan became the biggest winner in the qualifying round for the China Open ATP tournament as they grabbed two out of four berths left for the qualifiers in the main draw.
Japanese Satoshi Iwabuchi and Gouichi Motomura were promoted to the first round of the tournament after beating compatriot Toshihide Matsui 6-3, 6-4 and Phillip King from the United States 6-3, 6-1 apiece.
The two lucky players were joined by Luka Gregorc of Slovenia and Mikhail Ledovskikh of Russia.
