The famous Spanish soccer club FC Barcelona will visit Asia next year, while stopping in Beijing to participate in activities counting down to the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

The team will appear in Beijing on August 3rd of 2007. All of its star players, including Brazilian megastar Ronaldinho, plan to come.

With an aim to participate in the activities counting down to the 2008 Olympics, as well as help out the United Nations Children's Fund and Paralympics, the team will play at Beijing Workers Stadium and attend several social welfare and charity events as well.

The Spanish powerhouse will also play two exhibition matches in Japan.

It is said that Barcelona will hold a press conference about their Asian plans in Beijing in mid-December.
