Sun played in the first half as the left back and was replaced at the 15th minute in the second half.

Sun trained for the first time at PSV last Saturday, when he did running exercises together with physiotherapist Mart van den Heuvel.

The 25-year-old defender will join his teammates for full training on Tuesday.

Sun, who entered the Dutch club on a six-month loan signed last month, has completed all the relevant paperwork, including a Dutch work permit and residence permit before February 1, just in time to be eligible to play in the UEFA Champions League.

PSV are to host English premier league side Arsenal on February 21 in the first knockout round of the Champions League. Should Sun feature in the Champions League, he will be the first Chinese to compete in the world's most prestigious tournament for clubs.
