Poland likely to lose Euro 2012 if deadline misse

BRUSSELS - Poland is likely to be stripped of the right to co-host Euro 2012 if it fails to reinstate the country's soccer association by 1000 GMT on Monday, a spokesman for European soccer's governing body said.

"They (Polish government) have to realise they are playing with Euro 2012. How can we trust a government to host the tournament .... if they fail to meet the deadline then it is likely we cannot go on," the spokesman said.
