HARBIN -- Tickets are on hot sale, especially for speed-skating and short track speed-skating events at the coming 24th Winter Universiade, concerned officials said on Monday.

With two more days to go before the competitions start, "tickets for some events are already sold out, especially those speed-skating events," said a selling staff of the sole ticketing company for the Universiade.

A total of 370,000 tickets will be sold for the 81 events in 12 sports during the Feb. 18-28 winter sports gala.

The ticketing service of this year's Winter Universiade will adopt "first-come-first-serve" policy, and the selling service has been in full swing since January 5, 2009.
