Li is one of three Chinese women in the main draw.

Zheng Jie, the 15th seed, and a Wimbledon semi-finalist in 2008, will face France's Stephanie Cohen-Aloro in her opener, while Peng Shuai, seeded 31, opens against Spain's Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez.
