HOCKENHEIM, Germany - Sebastian Vettel of Germany has edged Fernando Alonso to take pole position for the Formula One German Grand Prix.
Vettel's Red Bull was 2 milliseconds faster than Alonso's Ferrari on Saturday to give the German his sixth pole of the season.
Felipe Massa of Brazil in the second Ferrari, who was third, and Mark Webber in the second Red Bull complete the two front rows for Sunday's race.
