China's Basketball Association (CBA) announced Wednesday it will ban "cacophonic music" during games, including singer Gong Linna's smash hit Tante .

Several other clubs followed suit and played Tante at home, wining their games. Though the victory was not officially attributed to the song, the CBA announced on its official website that it will forbid music that compromises guest teams' performance: "(Playing such music) is a severe violation of the association's rules, and should be strictly prohibited."
The continuous ups and downs of notes and vocals make Tante untranslatable into any language. The song hit the internet in late 2010, and was praised by netizens as a "divine tune".
