Li Na reaches semifinals at French Open

PARIS - Australian Open finalist Li Na advanced to the semifinals of the French Open by beating fourth-seeded Victoria Azarenka of Belarus 7-5, 6-2 Wednesday.

Li was the first Chinese player to reach a Grand Slam final at the Australian Open.

Azarenka entered Wednesday's match without having lost a set in her four previous matches at this year's French Open. But she fell to 0-4 in Grand Slam quarterfinals.
