MADRID - Jose Antonio Camacho was delighted after completing his first day's work with the Chinese national football team, he told Spanish newspaper Diario AS this Tuesday.

A man known for his passion and commitment to his sides, Camacho was delighted with the first day of training.
"I am satisfied. The installations at Kunming are good and the players have arrived motivated and with a will to work hard, the same as myself and the other coaches," said Camacho, whose aim is not just to reach the World Cup.
"We are going to do all that we can to make this work, but there are no instant miracles in football. I have said in the past that China has everything it needs to succeed, but it is going to be a medium term plan. Now we are concentrating on the qualification for the World Cup, but the country will also make progress in grass roots football, in schools and with children," he explained.
Camacho insisted that he had no problem communicating with the Chinese players.
"The language of football is universal and we have not had any problems understanding each other. Some of these players have been in Europe - in Portugal and the Premier League and there is no problem," he assured.
The coach commented that he was comfortable in China, despite not having been able to find a house of his own to live in and added that rather than look ahead to the World Cup, he preferred to take things one game at a time.
"My first hope is that we can beat Singapore," concluded Camacho.
