JAKARTA - The Los Angeles Galaxy and football megastar David Beckham arrived in Jakarta on Monday, in which they will duel with the Indonesian national soccer team, the Jakarta Globe reported on Tuesday.
As part of the Galaxy's Asia-Pacific tour, Coach Bruce Arena's side will play against the Indonesian national team on Wednesday at Bung Karno Stadium before facing the Philippines national squad in Manila on Saturday.
The tour will conclude in Australia with a match against Melbourne Victory on Dec 6.
Joining Beckham are 26 other players, including US national team star Landon Donovan and Irish striker Robbie Keane.

"On behalf of the team, I would like to say that we're excited to be here and looking forward to the game. It's great experience for the club to play in a new environment as some players don't have experience of such exposure," Arena said.
Besides Wednesday's match, the Galaxy will have a meet and greet with fans and a coaching clinic with youths today.
The Galaxy is the second foreign club to visit Jakarta in recent months. AC Milan Glorie, a group of famous players from the Italian side, came in September.
