In memory of Formula-One world champion Michael Schumacher

Michael Schumacher, on the shoulders of team manager Flavio Briatore (r) and race director Tom Walkinshaw, is the first German world champion in 45 years of Formula 1 on NOvember 13th 1994 in Australia's Adelaide. A spectacular collision with British rival Damon Hill (Williams-Renault) ended a haunting duel in the 36th round at the Australian Grand Prix in favour of the German. Both drivers had to end the race and thus made the 25-year-old Schumacher champion with a lead of one point (92) after a long season of many tragedies and scandals. [Photo/icpress.cn]
