Shanxi snaps Beijing's winning streak, Liaoning unbeaten

BEIJING - Lester Hudson had 34 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists to lead Liaoning to a 141-107 home victory over Zhejiang in the Chinese Basketball League on Sunday.

The lopsided win extended Liaoning's unbeaten record this season to 13 games as Zhejiang suffered its sixth straight loss.

Zhejiang had been way up with a 21-7 run before Liaoning fought back to close the deficit to nine points at the end of the 28-37 first quarter.

Liaoning jumped to a 67-61 lead after the second quarter and dominated the second half in which Zhejiang virtually gave up.

Hudson scored 35 points over 35 minutes and also had five steals.

Errick McCollum had a team-high 28 points for Zhejiang and Wu Qian added 26.

Shanxi ended Beijing's eight-game winning streak on Sunday, beating the visiting team 112-97.

Von Wafer had 33 points, eight rebounds and four assists for Shanxi while Jeremy Tyler added 27 points and 17 rebounds.

Stephon Malbury and Randolph Morris each scored 23 points for Beijing.

In Hangzhou, Guangsha miraculously overcame a 20-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat visiting Xinjiang 111-108.

The host team, which had been 20 points down in the last quarter, caught up 105-108 with one minute to go and cut the margin to one point on Wang Zheng's shot.

Lin Zhijie sank two free throws to put Guangsha 109-108 ahead and Jamaal Franklin, fouled in the last seconds, completed the tally with two more.

In Changzhou, Wang Shipeng scored 24 points including six 3-pointers to help Guangdong beat Jiangsu Tongxi 120-91.

Guangdong was 31-23 ahead after the first quarter and closed the first half 63-42.

The visiting team kept a 20-point lead in the third quarter and pulled away in the fourth.

In Sunday's other matches, Jiangsu lost to Dongguan 99-108, Qingdao defeated Foshan 127-110, Jilin edged Chongqing 109-108, Shanghai pipped Fojian 86-85, Bayi went down to Tianjin 81-105 and Shandong beat Sichuan 94-86.
