TOKYO - Former champion Jeonbuk Motors maintained its unbeaten run in the Asian Champions League by beating Shandong Luneng 4-1 on Tuesday.

Edu's first-half chip gave the South Korean team the lead before Yang Xu scored his third goal in two games to equalize. But Han Kyo-won, Lee Jae-sung and Leonardo all scored in the last 20 minutes for the 2006 champions.

"As expected, this was a very tough game, (but) we adjusted our tactics after they leveled the scores," Jeonbuk coach Choi Kang-hee said.

"Considering Shandong's attacking ability, at the beginning we focused on defense. However, our entire strategy is to attack and score, so at last we made four goals."

Japanese club Kashiwa Reysol beat Vietnamese team Binh Duong 5-1 to share the lead in Group E with Jeonbuk.

Masato Kudo scored twice to give the 2013 semifinalists all three points. Kim Chang-soo and Hidekazu Otani also scored for Kashiwa Reysol.

In Group F, Korean FA Cup winner Seongnam registered its first victory, beating Japan's treble winner Gamba Osaka 2-0.

Ricardo Bueno converted an eighth-minute penalty and Hwang Ui-jo doubled the lead in the 68th for two-time champion Seongnam, which lost to Buriram United in Thailand last week.

Buriram United registered its second win when a spectacular overhead kick from Gilberto Macena in the last minute earned them a 2-1 win over host Guangzhou R&F.

Lu Lin gave the home team the lead midway through the first half, and midfielder Ko Seul-ki leveled two minutes before the break.

Just when the game seemed it would end in a draw, Diogo's header bounced up inside the penalty area for Gilberto, who scored a stunning winner for the visitors.
