With the domestic Italian title already secure, Juventus can concentrate on its Champions League campaign which sees it face Spanish heavyweight Real Madrid in the semifinals.

Saturday's 1-0 win over Sampdoria, thanks to Arturo Vidal's goal, clinched Massimiliano Allegri's side's fourth successive Serie A title with four games to spare, earning precious preparation time before their clash with Real, still distracted by a tight Spanish La Liga title race.

The domestic championship came as recognition for coach Allegri who took over at the Turin-based club after former title-winner Antonio Conte quit at the start of the current season.

Few could have expected Allegri, who had been sacked by AC Milan only months before moving to Juve, to win over fans.

After dominating the Italian league for four seasons, Juventus is now expected to do more in Europe. Allegri appears the right man for the task as Juve still has its Champions League hopes on track.
