Ri Se-gwang of DPRK grabs men's vault gold at Rio Olymics

RIO DE JANEIRO - The vault specialist Ri Se-gwang of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea triumphed at the Rio Olympic Games here on Monday.

The two-time world champion Ri clinched the titile in 15.691 point, winning the second gold for DPRK at Rio.

Russian Denis Abliazin took the silver as he did in London four years ago with a score of 15.516 points.

Kenzo Shirai of Japan finished third in 15.449 points.
